In 2014, Swicorp extended its capabilities to include the entire African continent, with the addition of a senior team which brings extensive and long-standing experience investing across Africa. Triki joined Swicorp in 2003 and heads Swicorp’s Private Equity activitie. Prior to joining Swicorp, Mr Triki spent several years as a Project Leader with the Boston Consulting Group in Paris where he led numerous business strategy and corporate development assignments for leading companies. Triki worked as a Project Manager for Honeywell in Los Angeles and in Corporate Development for Unilever in New York.
Steyn joined Swicorp in 2015, bringing with him extensive experience of investing in Africa. Over the last 20 years, Mr. Steyn participated in various successful debt and pan-Africa private equity transactions, covering many different sectors and African markets. He has previously worked for FBC Fidelity Investment Bank and the Development Bank of Southern Africa where he lead various innovative transactions.
Steyn obtained a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Pretoria. Couloubis joined Swicorp in 2014, bringing over 15 years African Private Equity experience. AIG African Infrastructure Fund and subsequent funds in the region. Couloubis was with Global Finance, a leading private equity firm in South Eastern Europe.
Accounting from the University of South Africa. A, private equity and acquisition finance. While working at Coudert and Herbert Smith, he advised leading investment firms like AXA Private Equity, Blackstone, Bank of America, GE Capital and CDPQ on various large cap private equity investments in Europe. Charfi joined Swicorp in 2005 after 3 years with Siticom, a leading telecom consulting firm in Paris where he advised top French corporate and telecom carriers on telecom strategy and large scale projects. Charfi graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, France and from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications in Paris, France. Charfi speaks French, English, and Arabic. Wagner joined Swicorp in 2004 as part of the Investment Banking team based in Switzerland and Saudi Arabia.
