NEW Program for Summer 2018! We invest in soccer teams focus on individual skills in a group setting while also working on character development.
Soccer Shots will lead training sessions Mondays at 5PM or 6PM in conjunction with festival style games led by volunteers on Saturdays. Every child is different, so the ages listed are suggestions. We are happy to work with you to figure out the right program for your child. MINI – 2 TO 3 YEAR OLDSSoccer Shots Mini is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Through fun games, songs and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. Soccer Shots Classic utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting.
We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation. Soccer Shots Premier focuses on individual skill, fitness and sportsmanship, providing an opportunity for children to be challenged through fun games and team interaction. Children will also be introduced to competition in a developmentally appropriate manner. Expanded program now serves children ages 2 to 8 years old, Programming powered by Soccer Shots!
Soccer Shots Mini is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental soccer principles, such as using your feet, dribbling and the basic rules of the game. Forest Field Park starting April 9th from 5:30 to 7:00PM for children born between 2009 and 2015. Boys and girls who are interested in learning more about playing the sport of soccer will experience ninety minutes of training through a series of age appropriate mini-games lead by CUSA’s paid professional Player Development Coaches. You do not have to be a resident of Centerville or Washington Township to participate in this all area, open program.
If you already are playing on an organized competitive soccer team, please do not skip your team’s practice to attend this introductory level camp. However, if someone you know is interested in learning more about playing soccer, this is the camp for them. Otherwise, tennis shoes or gym shoes will do. Please bring an age appropriate soccer ball if you have one. If you do not have one, we will have some to loan out for the event. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in so we may start on time.
